Cost is $71 per person which includes the cruise and the all-you-can-eat meal. Members should contact Major Marine Tours in Anchorage at 907/274-7300 or 1-800-764-7300 to make reservations. Be sure to mention you're going on the 35+ Club tour.

Also contact Joe Shaw at 727-2121 to get your name on the list of participants. He is also reserving a motor coach for those who would prefer not to drive, to transport us to and from Seward. The cost will be approximately $20-$25 per person.

Join the fun - meet new friends, try out some dance steps, have a great meal and maybe see the migrating whales as we cruise the Fjords.

Academy Awards "After" Party

March 8 was the club's first Academy Awards "After" Party. Based on the participation level and positive comments, it will be the first of many. The hall was decorated in gold, silver and black. Movie posters swayed in the breeze, Oscars adorned the tables and stars and movie reels glittered overhead. Participants were dressed in their finest and Oscar winners stolled the red carpet to accept their awards.

Club members provided a potluck feast that would have made Wolfgang Puck envious.

Check out the paparrazi pictures by clicking on the various links: decorations - fashion - winners - attendees. Note: the download may take some time as the files are large.
